GiB „get together“
Members of the association and participants of the offers meet for a "get together" every month. With a Kölsch at the bar or a barbecue at the "Aachener Weiher", you can have a cozy chat, play table tennis or just sit together. Everyone who is interested is always warmly invited to the “get together”. Here you can get to know each other outside of sport, ask questions and meet new people. In addition, we regularly organise events for refugees as well as for our members and other interested parties.
• The "Grenzenlos - Cup" takes place every summer. This is where the different GiB-Football groups and other Cologne integration projects meet each other and play in tournament. In addition to the sports competition, you will always see many well-known GiB Faces here. The tournament has become a popular event with many spectators in recent years. Next to the main sports event and meals, the organisation team also comes up with great prizes such as jerseys and balls for the winning teams. All information about the past 4. • In the cold season, the Grenzenlos - Cinema night has established itself. In the largest lecture hall of the German Sport University Cologne we show a film with current sport-related topics. After the start of 2016 with the football comedy "90 Minuten - bei Abfiff Frieden", around 200 guests came to see the documentary "Gaza Surf Club" in the second edition. Afterwards, we create the best conditions for further discussion of the respective topic with mulled wine and punch. You will get impressions of the 2nd Grenzenlos Cinema Night 2017 here .
• In addition to these two GiB - Events, there are many other tournaments and events in which our teams participate. The "Cologne Unicup" went into the second round in July 2018 with GiB Participation. In 2018 GiB also celebrated a premiere at the “COME-TOGETHER-CUP” on the stadium grounds. The GiB team was even rewarded with the fair play prize and was able to bring home the winners trophy. You can find impressions of the tournament here .
